Sorry... and Sorry To Me

Blogging has been a hooby to me this past few months but then due to limited resources I find it hard to blog these days, yes sorry to me as well as to my friends and readers it make take some times for me to write an article or do some blog hopping. I dont own a computer unit right now, the one i have at home is only suited for some offline paperwork and it is impractical to blog hop in an interent cafe.
I may do some quick posting sometimes but not that frequent anymore just like now I can't even check if this post is grammatically correct. Bye for now blogosphere  until next time.

My Finds and Eastwood City

Last Friday I had the privilege to have my WAH or Work At Home its one perk from our company and since I only have to be visibly online on the afternoon I manage to do some side trips on Eastwood firstly to claim a prize and look for new things.
And yes I have seen a lot of new things in the place, it has been almost two and half since I had been to Eastwood City and I must say the place got even better after, more place to eat plus more buildings and more people.

And one of the best things is that I have some good finds that morning from various malls I pass while hoping from one MRT station to the other here are some of it.

A swimsuit for my boy since its already summer and we have some scheduled water splash trips might as well give him a macho image as a start, a red and white stripe trunks for my Levi. I got it on 50% off for only a 100php more or less $2.

And since its summer I need some footwear, a Banana Peel slipper in 50% off or 170php (less $4) in Disney edition. I also got some original on sale brand of outfits, Old Navy skirt, shorts, tank top and a tiangge lizard carry bag all for only 500Php ($11.25).
All in all I spent 770php for all my Friday great finds, yes I am not just a contest looter I am also frugally smart buyer ha ha!

Gambling From Bulacan to Vegas

Girls on my family specially on my mother side loves to play cards and do betting. I grew up knowing the mechanics of some card games like Pares-Pares (Pairings), lucky 9, Pusoy or Pusoy Dos (more like Poker), Tong-its and 41. Our community are very much open to not-so-legal betting like Ending (winning combination is from 00 to 99 and winning number is based on the last points in a basketball game), Queteng (Filipino betting game with three draws daily), Bingo and Lotto.

Back then in Bulacan inside our family compound,  every weekend after lunch the whole afternoon is spent in a card game by  Aunts and older cousins where real money is used for betting, but those are merely just for fun and only small amount are at stake.

Those are the days, right now those moments only happen once or twice a year since some of us are already in Manila and some even migrated in some states in US, but as to say a gambler will always be a gambler. My Mom and Aunts still manage to do betting by playing Bingo and Lotto and it has been an addiction to them even my cousins and Aunt in US you can see some of their pictures above in their constant trip in Las Vegas to play Slots and Casino. I wonder if one of them already knew about online casino, I will bet for sure one of this days they will discover and maybe some through this article.
So just maybe you want to try some internet casino try this list of best online casinos.

    Potted Garden

I love to brag about my flower from my potted rose on my so-called "Garden", I admire its beauty you can take a look on some of its blooms here on my other blog. I'm not sure if what variety it was, but its flowers was just small around 1" to 1.5" in diameter which I bought last year from a Manong in kariton who sell potted flowers around the city it costs Php50 then. Wish I can still some more of it various colors like red or white, but our place is too small, hubby promise me that he will make sure someday when we got our own place it will have a little garden.

I also have some potted herbs like oregano, ginger, celery and kinchay and I will try to take picture of them to show you.

    Philippine 2010 Election Guide

Posted of My other blogs too My Simple Life andMy Life

At Exactly 25 days from now every Filipino will exercise our rights to elect national leaders and help us God to choose the one who is less corrupt, at least conscientious and economically efficient (to the country and not on their own pockets) future public officials.

2010 May Election is another history which will ink permanently in our books, may it be in good or bad point we will soon know. Since our voting procedure will evolve from manual writing of names and one-by-one counting of ballots to computerize voting involving the very much controversial PCOS machine. These aims for fast voting process, fast tallying in seconds and fast proclamation of winners.

What is PCOS machine? It is a counting machine or Precinct Count Optical Scanner so to say, I had been searching the net to find out tips on how to manipulate it este! use it, but I can't find all I gather is that  voters only involvement on this machine is feeding the ballot on it and make sure that it accepts your vote and the rest will be taken care of by PCOS technicians aka board of election inspector. They say that certain data and information should be kept in confidential for the sake of security, I really hope those codes and passwords won't leak out and PCOS software are hack-free to ensure CLEAN and HONEST.

What if a brownout occurs on May 10? Comelec ensure that there is a back-up batteries that can supply power to PCOS machine for up to 16 hours.

Since our responsibility is to choose the rightful person for the public official position I might as well share with you some guidelines I had seen on the net from Commission On Elections (COMELEC)

    1. The voter shall, using a ballot secrecy folder and the marking pen provided by the COMELEC, fill his ballot by fully shading the oval beside the names of the candidates and political party participating in the party list system of representation of his choice.
    2. The voter shall then approach the PC0S machine; insert his ballot in the ballot entry slot and wait until the ballot is dropped into the ballot box. The Board of Election Inspector  shall monitor the PCOS screen to make sure that the ballot was successfully accepted. Thereafter, the voter shall return the ballot secrecy folder and marking pen to the chairman.
    3. The chairman shall apply indelible ink at the base and extending to the cuticle of the right forefinger nail of the voter, or any other nail if there be no forefinger nail.
    4. The voter shall affix his thumb mark on the corresponding space (beside his/her name) in the computerized voter’s list.
    5. The voter shall then leave the polling place.
    Click the picture to enlarge
    As added Precaution please note the following;
    - Check your precinct and sequence numbers on a list at the voting place days before the election to avoid hassle during election day. You can also check your precinct on COMELEC's online Registration Verification just click on the link.
-Comelec deletes names of voters who have not voted for two consecutive elections.
-Bring extra Valid Identification Card with picture and signature just in case problem arise during validation.
-Be very extra careful in marking your ballot since COMELEC issue exact number of ballot on each specific precincts. This means that you cannot commit mistake in markings or your vote will not be counted. These ballots contain bar-codes which are unique for each precinct and Ultraviolet Markings to identify fraud ones.
-Cellphones and cameras are not allowed inside the precinct.

There are lots of speculations regarding how candidates will cheat and manipulate the 2010 election, news about jammers and disc switching and it is a reality we cannot prevent those power-hungry people from doing this thing, but we can do something by voting wisely, don't be lure by those popularity measures they publish on if who is on top of those stupid surveys. Vote for the person whom you truly believe have the best intention for our country and be vigilant with your camera and cellphone, there a lots of watch station like ABS CBN and GMA these are trusted networks where you can easily text message, call, twitter or email some suspicious people or situation on your place.

    Cheap but Chick Glasses

I had been wearing eyeglasses since college, 12 years equal to 10 eyeglasses and I must say all are pretty pricey. And now one of my daily glasses was about to retire and since I am now a mom and need to budget a lot of things another signature glasses is no longer practical for me to have. Good thing I came across Eric's Review of Zenni Optical on his site and the catch I found this (above picture) only $12.95 and it will be just half the price if I will order only the frame.

    Mango as teether

Just a little to share over the weekend...

My Levi loves to eat fruits and one of his fave is a ripe Indian Mango from my grandmother trees. And since he start teething late, around his eight month, mango serves as one of his teether.

    Passing your Quizzes

Basic Education in our country goes as long as 13 years that include three years in preparatory school, six in elementary plus four more years in high school, but it's not just that you still have four or five years in college. All in all a person need to endure 17 to 18 years of their life in a four corner walled place commonly known as classroom and that includes 100 of exams and quizzes in just a year.
Yes guys I know, school is not all exams we off course got lots of good memories on each of our Alma Mater, but there is something that triggers my mind upon hearing school eventually it picture out a class one seat apart, all in sweaty silence in the middle of 100 items, three pages exam whew! That situation will never make me comeback to school and study again.
My memories of early student years of studying are still very much clear in me. During elementary y days those crying episode when my mom tries to make me memorize those dates on history subject, oh men! I hardly remember them now, good thing there are cellphones now that take care of those dates that needs remembering

But nothing beats the quizzes I encounter in my college days, those are brains smashing things where you need to digest everything your book and professor says. To think internet is already available those days, but less sites are available for some good help techniques and I envy kids of this generation they have all the access on online libraries and test software that will give them ease in studying. Plus there are lots of free online quizzes that students can use to test their skill I even encounter some engineering problems there.

My Virtual Restaurant in Cafe World

    Happy Easter!!!!

Since it's Easter let's have something that spells fun, like others out there I also love to play those applications in social networks where I maintain a virtual farm, aquarium and restaurant. And since my farm is still a mess with cows and chickens all over the place I will firstly show you my less clutter and newly renovated restaurant.
Ha ha ha! Sorry guys your host don't have a talent in decorating and what you see is the best I can offer as an interior decorator. I had been maintaining this for about four months now, but since I got into blogging my restaurant suffers having spoiled meals and its popularity drop down.

Right now I manage to give time to it with my current level at 46 and 1.1M coins with 13 CW cash. I now have 5 helpers, 8 counters and 16 stoves plus 1 super stove yipee!!!! But my cafe popularity still in 30 and sometimes less and I have no idea how to increase it or even nailed it to its current standing. It always happen that when I leave it in 30 the next day when I check it back, suddenly it  drops down to 19 or less even though I still have more food to serve.

I started decorating it lasts February that is why there are still some valentine stuffs to it and I love to make stay them for a while, more like a lover's corner lol! I also place a long table for some grand castle like dinner and a fast food cum disco area at night.

I really enjoy this game maybe because I get to cook some recipe (which I can't in real world) that looks good enjoyed by many and makes them come for more.

    Blog Signature

Blogging keeps me busy for four months now, searching for contest , traffic sites, free layouts and some site improvement things recently I found ways on how to add customized signature like the one you see on the lower right side of this article.

    Here's how I made it;
    1)  Go to My Live Signature Generator and key in your desired initial or name
    2) Select you desired font, you have 120 choices
    3) Choose the size that best fitted your signature and site
    4) For Color and Backgrounds
    5) Set your signature slope and you are ready to use it just hit the Want to use this signature? and generate the HTML code
     6) Now copy this code on your blog

LAYOUT >> EDIT HTML >> EXPAND WIDGET TEMPLATE

and paste your code after this
    or
    or this one
